Gluing a rectangle into a cylinder and a flat torus.

Welcome

Welcome to my personal webpage.

I am an ATER (non permanent teacher) at Montpellier University. I teach at IUT Montpellier-Sète, and I do my research in the ALGCO team at LIRMM . I defended my PhD in computer science under the supervision of Francis Lazarus at the laboratory G-SCOP of Grenoble in the Combinatorial Optimisation team.

The topic I study is part of PL (piecewise linear) geometry, and I am interesting more particularly to the algorithmic and combinatorial aspects. More precisely, I study PL isometric embeddings of polyhedral surfaces, that is faithful representations from a topological and metric viewpoint of surfaces obtained by gluing of Euclidean polygons. From a less formal viewpoint, one can see my topic as the one of mathematical origamis.
